We create a homely atmosphere and encourage family and friends to get involved in our various activities to promote and maintain our friendly homely feeling.

Recognizing that some residents prefer independence and others Companionship Annabeg offers a choice of single or shared accommodation. Each room is bright and spacious and following our recent refurbishment has been furnished to a very high standard whilst providing all the comforts of home. In each room there's a nurse call point ,overhead reading light,electric low profile bed, Tv and Radio.In addition long stay residents are very welcome to bring along personal items and small pieces of furniture if they so wish.
The qualified catering team prepare food of excellent quality and will be pleased to meet any dietary requirements. All food is cooked and prepared on the premises using fresh fruit and vegetables. A well balanced and varied menu is available providing mouth watering soups breads cakes and desserts. Relatives and friends are welcome to join residents for a cup of tea or coffee at any time.
The Care Team consists of fully qualified, registered nurses and experienced care assistants who have been carefully selected to work in this sphere of health care.
Categories of care include terminal, post operative, convalescent and the infirmed. Residents are encouraged to retain their own G.P., however where this is not possible, we are fortunate to have a local G.P. practice providing medical cover. A Physiotherapist, Chiropodist, Dentist and Optician all visit the home regularly or as requested. The home is also equipped with the medical equipment to help and assist our residents with their day to day activities.

Annabeg is a private nursing home. We are registered with the Health Information Quality Authority (HIQA), who inspect the home twice yearly, making announced and unannounced visits. They have the right to access the home at any time.
